Job Summary:

Xavier University of Louisiana invites applications for the position of Van/Shuttle Driver. Under the direction of the Office of Student Affairs ( OSA ), the Van/Shuttle Driver will assist the OSA in the transportation of students to and from various sites across the metropolitan area. The Van/Shuttle Driver is responsible for maintaining the safety of students while providing transportation services, operating the vehicle with the highest concern for individual, student, and motorists' safety, as well as reporting any accidents, incidents, or other issues that would prohibit the OSA from operating the transportation program. The Van/Shuttle Driver must provide safe, courteous, and timely van/shuttle services in accordance with Xavier University of Louisiana's Safe Driving Policy and all driving laws. Drivers must have good communication skills to interact with fellow drivers, maintenance, the Student Life team, and the Xavier community they serve. Commitment, patience, maturity, and initiative are required qualities.

A valid driver's license is required. A background check/drug screen is a part of our hiring process for Van/Shuttle Drivers.  AA/ EOE
