Position Overview:

As a hair salon hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and play a crucial role in ensuring they have a positive and enjoyable visit to our salon. Your welcoming demeanor, combined with attention to detail, will make clients feel valued from the moment they walk through our doors.

Key Attributes and Responsibilities:

• Outgoing Personality: Greet clients with a warm and friendly smile, make them feel comfortable, and engage in friendly conversation to create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Detail-Oriented: Ensure that appointments are accurately scheduled and maintained. Pay close attention to clients' preferences, special requests, and specific needs.
• Fast-Paced Environment: Thrive in a bustling salon environment, where multitasking and staying organized are essential. Assist with client check-ins, coat and bag storage, and keep the salon area clean and tidy.
• Intrinsically Motivated: Take the initiative to enhance the client experience. Offer refreshments, assist with retail product recommendations, and ensure that the waiting area is comfortable and inviting.
• Fashion-Forward: This is the beauty industry. Maintain a polished and fashionable appearance that reflects the salon's style. A keen sense of style and an ability to stay up-to-date with fashion trends is a plus.
• Hospitality-Focused: Provide exceptional customer service at all times. Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive experience throughout their visit.
• Revenue-Driven Contribution: Proactively recommend services, products, and memberships that elevate the client experience and contribute to the salon’s growth. Employees who excel at driving revenue will be recognized with opportunities for higher compensation.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred but not required.
• The ability to craft cocktails is a plus!
