The role:

As a Salesforce Administrator, with a deep understanding and expertise of the Salesforce platform, you’ll take ownership of ClickView's Salesforce ecosystem. You'll evaluate our current set up against our objectives, identify areas for improvement, and drive successful implementations and enhancements. We are looking for someone with a constant desire to challenge and improve the current use and experience of the Salesforce platform, supporting users globally as we scale and expand.

This is an opportunity for you to lead the strategic optimisation of our Salesforce platform. You'll liaise with stakeholders at all levels to understand and analyse the current processes, needs, and goals of various departments within ClickView. Your mission will be to determine what can be improved to achieve desired outcomes and execute on these strategies.

Your end goal is to ensure optimal performance of our Salesforce platform, ensuring continuous alignment with business objectives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an acute understanding of best practices, sales processes, and possess the technical capabilities to ensure that all aspects of Salesforce projects effectively support ClickView's strategic goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Platform Ownership: Own and optimise the Salesforce platform, continuously updating features and functionality to enhance sales and customer team processes
  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document their requirements, including conducting interviews, workshops, and reviewing existing documentation
  • Salesforce Configuration and Customisation: Translate business requirements into Salesforce configurations and customisations, including data models, workflows, and user interfaces
  • Advanced Reporting and Analytics: Drive data driven decision making through creating and customising enhanced reporting and analytics, and providing actionable insights into business performance and metrics
  • Data Management: Analyse data requirements and contribute to strategies for data migration into Salesforce. Ensure data hygiene and integrity, and maintain accurate information across the platform
  • User Training: Conduct user training sessions and develop materials to ensure effective use of Salesforce, including guidance on target achievement, data interpretation, and change management efforts to drive user adoption
  • System Integration: Manage integration projects between Salesforce and other tools, ensuring seamless data flow and efficient information capture
  • Continuous Improvement and Best Practice: Stay updated on Salesforce best practices and new features by attending conferences, recommending improvements, and implementing industry leading techniques
  • Documentation: Create and maintain documentation, including process flows, user guides, and other materials to support Salesforce implementations.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience as a certified Salesforce Administrator in a similar environment
  • Extensive experience in the build, customisation, administration and maintenance of salesforce systems
  • Previous experience working with, and a strong understanding of, sales processes is highly regarded
  • Exceptional ability to engage stakeholders and communicate effectively across different teams
  • Experience in performing salesforce upgrades and ensuring successful integration
  • Exceptional ability to create and maintain salesforce databases, importing sales data and generating reports
  • In-depth technical understanding of object data models, data schemas and relational databases
  • In-depth knowledge of salesforce products and their functionalities
  • Proficiency in creating salesforce profiles, allocating roles, and managing access
  • Ability to provide salesforce training and end-user support, with an ability to relay technical information
