What This Role Is… As a
Production Assistant/Photo Studio Runner , the primary function of this position is product movement between shoots and staging areas around the set, both in studio and on location, as directed by the art director and set designer and photographer. The Production Assistant/Photo Studio Runner is also responsible for providing assistance in manual labor during assembly and disassembly of each set. This position is also responsible for assisting in the fabrication process of studio sets for the photography and production team to capture quality images and/or video footage for all advertising purposes company wide. Your contributions will ensure the success of the Creative Marketing Team at CITY Furniture.
Position Title: Production Assistant/Photo Studio Runner Location: Corporate - Tamarac, FL Reports to: Photo Art Manager Department/Sub-Department: Marketing-Creative Pay rate: $16-18/hr What You’ll Do… As a Photo Studio Runner your primary responsibilities will be to:
- Provide assistance in manual labor during assembly and disassembly of each set as well as product movement to and from studio and location shoots.
- Build and maintain all sets for the Photo Studio and on location based on the direction given by the Art Director and Photo Studio/Production Manager.

What’s Required… - Education & Work Experience:
- High School Diploma
- 1-year related experience
- Work Environment & Schedule:
- Monday - Friday
- 40-hour workweek; with hours exceeding 40 during shoots.
- Warehouse and wood shop environment; photo studio with repeated camera flash throughout the day
- 5% Travel
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 75 lbs or more is required on a daily basis.
- Technology Requirements:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (i.e. Excel, Word, and Outlook, etc.)
- Certifications / Licenses
- Valid Florida Driver License
