Job Summary
Midwest Express Clinic is seeking a dependable and hands-on  Operations Assistant to join our growing team. This entry-level position plays a vital role in supporting day-to-day operational needs across our network of clinics. The ideal candidate is highly adaptable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, field-based environment. The candidate for this role must be located in the Chicagoland market and will travel on a daily basis between the Company’s clinic locations throughout Southern Illinois and Western Indiana.

Responsibilities :
  • Travel to MEC clinic sites to provide on-the-ground operational support
  • Conduct general clinic audits to assess needs related to inventory, facilities, compliance, and workflow efficiency
  • Assist in opening new clinic locations, helping with setup, organization, and coordination with leadership
  • Collaborate with clinic managers and operations leads on various projects, including cost containment, process improvement, and team support
  • Help troubleshoot issues onsite and escalate concerns when needed
  • Maintain accurate records, document findings, and support follow-ups for ongoing operational projects
  • Take ownership of tasks assigned by the operations team that may vary week-to-week based on current priorities

  • Reliable, organized, and comfortable working independently in the field
  • Capable of physical tasks including lifting, organizing, and moving supplies or equipment
  • Proficiency in using tools such as Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, Slack, and Monday.com is a plus
  • Flexibility to shift focus quickly as new priorities emerge

Physical Requirements: This role requires the individual to have the ability to lift, carry, and move items up to 50 pounds, as well as perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods.

This role has an expected hourly rate of $20/hour
