Job Description

Duties: 

• Greet and room patients
• Prepare EMR chart and update skin Cancer history
• Do intake on patients' medications, allergies, past medical history, and immunizations.
• Scribe for the provider
• Prep for and assist with biopsies and procedures.
• Package and label specimens for shipment
• Give provider-guided instructions to patients after the visit
• Clean, stock, and set up exam rooms between patient visits
• Clean and autoclave surgical instruments
• When needed, check patients in and out and answer phone calls

• Ability to work well with others
• Ability to multitask
• Ability to pay close attention to detail
• EMR experience
• Flexibility
• Ability to learn both medical assistant and administrative duties

Additional Information

Job Type:

• Full-time: Monday-Friday, 7:50am – 5:00pm

Experience:

• At least six months of medical assisting experience with administrative experience a plus.
• Experience using an EMR

Education

• Completion of medical assisting school
