We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join our Emergency Department team in Ashland, Kentucky on a locum tenens basis. This opportunity is perfect for a skilled and confident PA with a passion for emergency care and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide acute care to patients of all ages presenting with a wide range of medical emergencies
Perform essential emergency procedures, evaluations, and interventions
Collaborate closely with board-certified Emergency Medicine physicians and clinical staff
Document all care and procedures accurately and promptly within the EMR system
Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to a diverse patient population
Requirements:
Board Certified Physician Assistant
Active Kentucky license
ACLS, ATLS, and BLS certifications
DEA license required
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Emergency Medicine preferred
