Salary: $67,000 - 96,000 per year Requirements:
- A minimum of 5-7 years of prior IT experience is essential.
- Experience in IT supervision or management is preferred.
- Proficient in troubleshooting computers and peripherals.
- Basic knowledge of networking is required.
- A strong foundation in Windows operating systems and user configurations is necessary.
- Must communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to interact positively and maintain relationships with guests, coworkers, and management, in line with our Service Excellence standards.
- A valid driver's license without limitations or restrictions, in compliance with our insurability standards (Motor Vehicle Record check will be required).
- Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check.
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is preferred, along with any coursework in computer science or business.
- Coursework in leadership or supervisory skills is a plus.
Responsibilities: - I oversee the daily operations of our IT systems, ensuring seamless performance of networks, servers, and infrastructure.
- I lead a team to tackle IT challenges, manage projects, and uphold security protocols.
- Collaborating closely with various departments, I ensure that technology enhances resort operations and guest experiences.
- I respond to requests and issues from all business units and plan, organize, direct, control, and assess IT technical procedures.
- I hire, guide, train, and review the performance of direct reporting staff, while assigning and prioritizing duties to personnel and resources.
- Participation in Service Excellence and Safety Wise initiatives is vital as I contribute to our Steamboat Culture.
- I work on operational and capital budgets, maintaining forecasts and documentation.
- I procure necessary hardware, software, and peripherals, while keeping the current inventory updated.
- I manage computer and file permissions for secure network access and respond to off-hour emergencies.
- Guiding employees across the resort on job-related IT procedures is a key part of my role, as is advising on how technology can support compliance with SSRC standards.
