Job Description

HCT is seeking an experienced healthcare professional to serve as the Interim Executive Director of Oncology for a cancer center that operates multiple ambulatory sites within a large health system in Illinois. This leadership role requires a seasoned professional with the ability to drive strategic growth and operational excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide operational oversight for all ambulatory oncology areas.
• Coordinate activities across hospitals, satellite centers, and affiliate operations.
• Oversee strategic planning, including space utilization, provider recruitment, and staff management.
• Lead business planning processes, including budget and capital planning.

Qualifications:

• Education: Master's degree required.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in a hospital or ambulatory setting, with at least 7 years of leadership experience. Proven track record in building integrated, successful multidisciplinary cancer programs and leading clinical research initiatives.
• Skills: Expertise in marketing, public relations, financial planning (budget and capital), and experience with Epic and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Other Requirements: Must be computer-savvy and adaptable to evolving healthcare technologies.
