Job Title: HVAC Engineer
Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented HVAC Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the installation, operation, and maintenance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for residential, commercial, or industrial projects. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of HVAC system design and energy efficiency standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Design HVAC systems based on project requirements, budgets, and regulations.
Prepare detailed technical drawings, calculations, and specifications.
Collaborate with architects, project managers, and other engineering disciplines.
Conduct load calculations and energy modeling to ensure optimal system performance.
Oversee installation and commissioning of HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with design standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve HVAC system issues during and after construction.
Ensure all projects meet local building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
3+ years of experience in HVAC design and engineering.
Proficiency with HVAC design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, HAP, Trace 700).
Strong knowledge of HVAC codes and standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, etc.).
Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, but not required.
