**Job Title: Warehouse Forklift Operator** **Job Description** Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Forklift Operator, where you will have the opportunity to work in either the Production or Warehouse Department. In these roles, you will be integral to the efficient movement of raw materials and finished products within our facility. **Responsibilities** + Unload raw materials from semi-trucks, including bins of vegetables, barrels, and palletized products. + Load palletized finished products onto semi-trucks. + Depalletize shipments into smaller orders manually, handling weights up to 25 pounds. + Transport raw materials from the warehouse to production lines. + Move finished products to the warehouse for staging and preparation for loading onto trucks. + Utilize hoses and spray production lines and barrels as necessary. + Comfortably operate a sit-down forklift, both gas and electric. **Essential Skills** + At least 2+ years of recent experience operating a forklift. + Recent experience on a sit-down forklift within the last 6 months. + Proficiency in loading and unloading, including understanding loading patterns. + Familiarity with the SAP System and inventory processes. + Forklift safety knowledge is essential. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with a 2-fork forklift, no stand-up models. + Ability to work in a fast-paced, GMP-regulated environment. + Capable of performing repetitive motions and handling strong smells. + Must have spent at least half of the workday (4-6 hours) on a forklift. **Why Work Here?** Our company offers a stable and supportive work environment, operating 24/7 to ensure continuous productivity. The work area can be wet due to vegetable juices, and employees must adhere to GMP regulations, including wearing hair nets, beard nets, and blue smocks. No jewelry, nail polish, or cell phones are allowed in the production area. Be prepared for strong smells, especially in the production area, as we work with vinegar, pepperoncini, jalapenos, and olives. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of American Canyon, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $23.21 - $23.21/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
