Department Information This position is part of the College of Sciences and reports directly to the Dean. The College of Sciences cultivates curiosity, encourages exploration, and fosters innovation to develop scientific solutions for a better world. Our connected community of scientists and mathematicians collaborates across disciplines and challenges to achieve excellence in science, teaching, and research. Working across six internationally ranked schools with the brightest young minds in our fields, we mentor future leaders to identify and push the frontiers of human knowledge, imagination, and innovation. This position will support alumni relations within the College to further foster the science community. The director will work with College leadership, development professionals, and the Alumni Association to create strategic initiatives and programs that provide opportunities for College of Sciences alumni to engage with each other and the College through time and treasure. Plan, coordinate and implement routine and/or complex Alumni activities. Such programs include maintaining alumni databases, alumni groups and club liaison, awards, volunteerism, on-line services and publications and related communication media. Educational Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, Communications or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience Required Experience Four to five years of job related experience

Successful candidates with experience in higher education and/or supporting alumni relations and activities is strongly preferred. Familiarity with Georgia Tech systems, processes, and policies is preferred.
