Description of the Role: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Always Best Care Senior Services of Studio City . The Caregiver provides assistance and support to our clients in their daily activities, promoting their independence and well-being. Our clients live in the following area: Studio City, Burbank, Valley Village, North Hollywood and surrounding areas. Benefits:

• Competitive compensation of $20-$21 per hour
• $20/hour for weekday shifts and $21/hour for weekend shifts

Responsibilities:

• Assisting clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, toileting, incontinence care (diaper changing) and dressing.
• Providing medication reminders.
• Preparing and serving meals according to dietary restrictions.
• Provide light housekeeping.
• Assisting with mobility and transferring clients.
• Ensuring a clean and safe environment for clients.
• Engaging in conversation and providing companionship to clients.
• Monitoring and reporting any changes in client's condition to the appropriate supervisor.
• Some clients require that caregivers go grocery shopping, pick up medication at the pharmacy or accompany seniors to their medical appointments.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Caregiver/Home Care Aid for at least one year.
• Two references required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform the duties of the role.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Proof of a TB test taken within the last year showing clear results.
• Able to complete in-person orientation and online initial and annual caregiver training.
